CCFL on a 9 Volt battery - 750 Volt output! - schematic diagram in description

CCFL on a 9 Volt battery - 750 Volt output! - schematic diagram in description Video Clips. Duration : 1.92 Mins.

My "run a CCFL on 1 battery and a 2 transistor inverter" experiment was a success! For this project, I used one inverter transformer and a CCFL (cold-cathode fluorescent lamp) from an old LCD monitor. The 2 transistors are NPN, type BD737 from a (very old) old cassette player. The 2 resistors are 82 Ohm (grey-red-black) and 1/4th Watt. I think almost any NPN transistor in this package should do the job. It has a BCE pin-out. On a full 9 volt battery, I got around 750Volt but the battery was draining fast. For the schematic diagram I used this one: www.eleccircuit.com
