Power Outlets Your vehicle is equipped with 12 volt power outlets located on the instrument panel, in the center console (if so equipped) and in the third row (if so equipped). These outlets can be used for small electrical devices such as cellular phones. The power outlet on the instrument panel and the third row (if so equipped) are powered only when the ignition switch is in the ACC or ON position. The power outlet inside the center console (if so equipped) is powered by the vehicle's battery. To use a power outlet, simply open its cap. Be sure the device is turned OFF before connecting or removing it from an outlet. Your vehicle may also be equipped with 120 volt outlets located in the center console and the rear luggage area. To use a 120 volt outlet for a device requiring up to 150 watts, the shift lever can be placed in any position and the ignition can be in any position except OFF. However, to use a 120 volt outlet for devices requiring between 150 and 400 watts, the ignition must be ON and the shift lever must be in the PARK position. Your vehicle may be equipped with a Power Inverter Switch on the instrument panel that controls the 120 volt outlets. When you need to use a 120 volt outlet for items that use between 150 and 400 watts, push the Power Inverter Switch. 150 watts and 400 watts will illuminate on the switch. Push again to turn OFF.
